We’re talking about running backwards. Everyone can run forwards, but backwards is different, is new, is adventurous.
My friend and I enjoy walking backwards in the woods. It’s still a kind of test of courage for me, seeing as the paths are bumpy and full of potential obstacles. But also smooth straight roads or long beaches are perfect try-running-backwards opportunities. No matter where or how, when you’re running backwards, any bad mood fades away, you automatically have to smile and dark thoughts don’t stand a chance. I heard from a friend that even heartbreak turns into pure joy of life while running backwards. WOW! It really works; it turns your head upside down and clears it out completely. You suddenly notice muscles in your body that you didn’t even know existed. Try it out, you’ll love it!
A little tip
If you’re anxious and unsure at first because you don’t have eyes in the back of your head, just buy a simple rear view mirror. That way you can easily avoid any obstacles without having to turn around all the time until you get the feel for what’s behind you.
